Social Protection Resource Centre (SPRC) is conducting a ‘Concurrent Session’ titled as ‘State of Social Protection in Pakistan: Need, Coverage, Legislative Status, Challenges, and Way Forward’ on SDPI’s 23rd SDC. The Flagship Report of SPRC on ‘Status of Social Protection in Pakistan 2020’ will be launched in this session, of which highlights will be presented in the session covering the need, coverage, legislative status, challenges and way forward for social protection based on its findings, with special reference to COVID-19. The session will be moderated by Dr Safdar A. Sohail, Executive Director, SPRC, & Convenor, Pakistan Alliance for Social Protection (PASP).
